Press launch generates attention in the media
The 7th of March, 24 Solutions invited Turkish press to a company launch at the Swedish Palace in Istanbul. The Palace is Sweden’s oldest state property abroad. The grounds in Beyoglu (ancient Pera) were bought in 1757, but the present Swedish Palace dates from 1870 due to fire on several occasions.
The launch was opened by the Swedish General Consul Therese Hydén who was followed by 24 Solutions’ CEO Daniel Werner. Daniel spoke about Sweden’s progress as a Cashless Society, where the country is at the very forefront. Figures now say that 80% of payments are by credit cards and a staggering 98% are digital, leaving a rather small percentage to the newly printed money. As part of Daniel’s presentation he showed some of them, among which were Astrid Lindgren. He spoke about Swish as a catalyser for how simple digital transfers have become between individuals. He rounded of with 24 Solutions’ ability to deliver the PCI services – both PCI DSS environment, PCI QSA and PA-PCI DSS services.
Emrah Elmas, Country Director in Turkey, then spoke about the current market situation in Turkey. A market where the number of credit cards has reached 176 million and a growth rate of 3%. 24 Solutions, by entering the Turkish market, is able to provide security services to help protect the companies and in turn consumers.
