24 Solutions prioritizes security at all levels. The company is now ISO 27001 certified, which endorses that their focus on IT security is prevalent throughout the whole company and enables them to deliver guaranteed security and high availability.
To become ISO 27001 certified was a natural next step for 24 Solutions since their focus is on quality and security. Achieving ISO 27001 certification validates that the company maintains the information security standard it aspires to and that it permeates the entire organization. This latest certification is also a good complement to 24 Solutions having a PCI DSS-certified platform and combining that with being a PCI QSA and PA-QSA company.
“I have since I joined 24 Solutions had my mind set on ISO 27001 because it is a good way to gain control of all parts of the business. The standard is simply about making conscious choices for maintaining a structured approach to information security and to demonstrate that continuous improvement is a priority. The fact that we received inquiries from both existing and potential customers confirms that this was the right thing to invest in,” says Pelle Nilsson, VP Operations.
ISO 27001: 2014 is the official name for the standard. It sets requirements for the information security management system (ISMS), which aims to ensure that companies protect their information in the best way possible and actively work to continuously improve. The audit and certification covers every part of 24 Solutions’ business. It includes all processes and the governance of the entire organization. With the processes in place, it will become easier to manage, measure and improve the processes over time. It allows 24 Solutions to concentrate more on preventing risks and eliminating threats, which will directly benefit their clients.
“24 Solutions must have a strong focus on compliance and information security in order to be perceived as the most secure IT service provider in the Nordic region. With ISO 27001, we get a stamp of approval that shows that we conduct our business in accordance with applicable standards, practices and legal requirements, and that we do it in accordance with our goals for quality, security and environment,” Pelle Nilsson concludes.
